New Castle County EMS Station No. 5

Landmark worked as part of the multidisciplinary design team led by the project architect for design of the new county EMS Station No. 5 that will serve the needs of the growing Middletown area. After planning and design for site locations in the Town of Odessa and Huber Crossing at Boyd’s Corner, the site of the former New Castle County Southern Patrol headquarters building was selected for renovation and expansion. The project was completed in 2019. 

New Castle County Lt. John B. Potter EMS Station No. 5 – Town of Middletown

Planning and site design for renovations to the original 6,508 square foot New Castle County Southern Patrol building included renovations to the existing entrance for emergency access and a proposed 3,103 square foot one-story expansion for paramedic apparatus bays for use as EMS Station No. 5. The project was completed in 2019. The building is located in 605 N. Broad Street in the Middletown Square/Greenlawn subdivision which was originally designed by Landmark in 1995.

New Castle County Paramedic Station No. 5 – New Castle County (Odessa & Middletown Area)

Planning and site design of a proposed 9,322 square foot site in Odessa on the westerly side of southbound U.S. 13 (north of S.R. 299). This project was 80% approved before the site was relocated to Huber’s Crossing on the easterly side of U.S. 13 at Boyd’s Corner. The Huber’s Crossing planning and site design was 100% approved when the project was relocated to the final site in the Town of Middletown.
