Four Phases of Construction

The project will be constructed in four phases:

  • The first phase began in  the spring of 2023.
  • The second phase started in the summer of 2023 and included school bus areas, parent drop-off loops and student-walker paths  which were altered for use during construction.
  • The third phase will begin in August 2025 when students will move into the new school allowing for the final phase to begin.
  • The fourth phase involves demolition of the 69-year-old school and redevelopment of the original, historic parts of the entrance to create an outdoor classroom. Site improvements on the school site will also include a park, athletic areas and fields, and parking spaces. The project will conclude by fall of 2026.
