DEMA Vehicle Storage & Maintenance

DEMA’s new vehicle storage and maintenance building at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Transportation Management Center (TMC) on Brick Store Landing Road in Smyrna was constructed as a pole barn building on the north side of the parking area, adjacent to the stormwater management facilities.

Work included topographic survey and demolition plan to remove existing sheds, site design, grading and drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, utilities, parking lot readjustment, and storm water quality pond restoration.  Record Minor Land Development Plan Application processing was performed. Construction phase services included construction administration and certified construction review. A stormwater management as-built survey was additionally requested to document the existing stormwater facilities on site.

Landmark worked as part of a multi-disciplinary design team led by the architect for this OMB/DFM project  Landmark has worked on projects at the site since the Emergency Operations Center (1999) and  Transportation Management Center (2003) were constructed.
