Ted C. Williams

Ted Williams is a registered professional engineer in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania, and serves as President and Chairman of the Board of Landmark Science & Engineering. His expertise comes from over 42 years of experience performing comprehensive civil engineering design and project management for various types of land development, transportation and construction projects. He specializes in planning, site design, and traffic impact studies for large, private-sector mixed-use commercial, office, retail, residential, and industrial sites, as well as for public sector projects throughout Delaware, Maryland and southeastern Pennsylvania. Clients benefit from his deep knowledge of zoning codes and land use matters and his proven success with agency processing, public hearings and plan approvals for complex development projects.

Mr Williams earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation, from Drexel University. His commitment to his profession is evidenced by his public service as Chairman of the Delaware Council on Transportation (COT), an advisory panel appointed by the Governor that sets transportation priorities and reviews and approves the Capital Improvement Program, and as president of the Committee of 100 business organization. He has served as chairman of the State’s Transportation Trust Fund Task Force, and was national chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the voice of America’s engineering industry, representing more than 600,000 engineers, architects, land surveyors and other specialists in 52 Member Organizations. He ha also served on the Department of Education’s (DOE) Construction Committee and was a past Vice Chair, Director, and public member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Assn. (DIAA).

Mr. Williams was honored to be elected to the College of Fellows of ACEC in 2011 and was inducted to the Order of the Engineer in 2015. He and his spouse, Karen, live in New Castle County, Delaware, where they have raised a son and daughter and are now enjoying grandparenthood.
