Delaware Tech – Energy Education

The new Center for Energy Education and Training (CEET) at Delaware Technical Community College in Dover is a 5,412 square foot building addition to the 29,700 square foot Corporate Training Center (CTC) located at the entranceway to the Terry Campus.

The project was designed for energy efficiency and earned LEED Platinum certification from the USGBC. There are many green design aspects for the building including geothermal wells, a vertical wind mill, a green roof for stormwater quality control, and bioretention basin for stormwater quantity control. Complex utility relocation plans were created to reroute all existing utilities around the CTC and new CEET addition.
