Principals of Landmark Science & Engineering, a civil/site engineering, surveying and environmental sciences consulting firm, are pleased to announce that Martha W. Durand, a registered landscape architect in the firm’s Aberdeen, Maryland office, has joined the Board of Directors of the Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce.

Martha W. Durand, RLA, ASLA is a registered landscape architect in Maryland and Delaware and member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, with over 15 years of professional site planning and landscape design experience. She earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at New York State College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse. Martha says she is “happy to have been invited to serve the local business community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce.” The office was located in the Town of Havre de Grace for 10 years before relocating to Aberdeen a year ago. Her commitment to improving the local community is evident in the work she performed for the Town of Bel Air for the new Chesapeake Sensory Plaza at Rockfield Park in Bel Air. The 5,000 square foot playground features a water and nature-themed play area that represents the Chesapeake Bay watershed and highlights the importance of natural resources and the environment.  See Bio
